Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to browse the site, get to know the wines and get in touch. This is how we made it accessible, and what is left to improve.

Our commitment

Eretz Yehuda Boutique Wines attaches great importance to providing equal and accessible service to the whole public, and works to make the site accessible to people with disabilities.

The standard we work to

The site is adapted, as far as possible, to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013, and to Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the WCAG guidelines at level AA.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, and we continue to improve them.

The accessibility adjustments on the site

An accessibility menu, opened by pressing the icon in the corner of the screen or from the link at the bottom of the site, lets you adjust the display. Your preferences are saved on your device and apply on later visits too.

  • Increasing and decreasing the text size, in three steps.
  • High contrast.
  • Greyscale.
  • Highlighting links and buttons.
  • A readable font.
  • Increased line spacing.
  • Stopping animations and videos.
  • A large cursor.
  • Resetting all settings with one press.

In addition, the site has:

  • Full keyboard navigation, with a prominent mark on the active element.
  • A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
  • A consistent heading structure, and the page language and text direction set correctly.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Colour contrast that meets the required level, and body text in a comfortable size.
  • Windows (age confirmation, the menu, wine details) that can be closed with Esc, with correct focus management.
  • Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting: the site is shown without scroll animations and without a playing video.

Known limitations

Parts of the site, such as the scroll animations, the opening video and the 3D bottles, are decorative. The information in them also appears as text, and with “stop animations” turned on, or when the device prefers reduced motion, they are shown without movement.

The text printed on the bottle labels, shown in images and in the 3D bottles, is in Hebrew, as on the real product.

The site links to WhatsApp, an external service that is not under our control, and we are not responsible for its accessibility.

If you come across a part that is not accessible, we would like to know and will deal with it as soon as possible.

Accessibility testing

The site’s accessibility was checked with automated tests and manual checks carried out during development, in different browsers and screen sizes, including mobile devices. No external accessibility audit has been carried out.
