Terms of Use

This site presents the wines of Eretz Yehuda. Orders are made in a direct conversation with us, not on the site. These are the rules.

General and consent

These terms apply to the use of the website of Eretz Yehuda Boutique Wines (“Eretz Yehuda”). Entering and using the site means you accept the terms. Anyone who does not agree to them is asked not to use the site.

The wording of the Hebrew original is in the masculine for convenience only and refers to all genders. In case of any difference between the Hebrew and the English versions, the Hebrew version prevails.

The nature of the site

The site is a display and information site. It is not an online shop: you cannot buy products on it, it has no shopping cart and no means of payment.

The site is intended for adults aged 18 and over only. Entering it involves an age confirmation, and nothing on it is an offer or advertisement aimed at minors.

Orders

An order is made by contacting us directly on WhatsApp. Such an enquiry is not a binding order. A transaction is concluded only after the items, quantity, price, method of payment and delivery or pickup have been agreed between us and you, and we have expressly confirmed it.

Prices are not published on the site. The price is given in the conversation and is valid for that order. We reserve the right to change prices and to stop marketing a product, and the availability of products and vintages may change.

Alcohol is handed over to adults only. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age and to refuse to hand over or sell when there is concern that the recipient is a minor.

Products and descriptions

The descriptions of the wines on the site, such as grape varieties, vintage, alcohol percentage, style and tasting notes, are based on the wine’s label and on information we hold. We try to be accurate, but there may be inaccuracies or differences between vintages.

The images on the site, including the 3D renderings of the bottles, show the products for illustration only. The actual look of the bottle, the label and the colours may differ slightly.

The descriptions are not a medical or nutritional claim. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to drink alcohol.

Personalised labels

On the home page you can see a preview of a personal label on the bottle, with names and a date that you type. It is a preview only and not a binding offer.

Printing personal labels and handing them over are subject to direct agreement with us and final approval of the design and wording. We may refuse content that infringes the rights of others, or that is unlawful, offensive or misleading. Anyone who gives us a name, logo or design is responsible for having the right to use it.

Intellectual property

All the content of the site, including the logo, the design, the texts, the images, the animations and the renderings, belongs to Eretz Yehuda or to the holders of the rights in it, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, distribute, alter or use it for any commercial purpose without prior written permission.

Permitted and prohibited use

The site may be used for personal and legitimate purposes only. You may not interfere with the operation of the site, bypass security measures, try to access systems that are not open to the public, or use automated tools to harvest content on a large scale.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. We try to keep it running continuously and properly, but we are not liable for interruptions, faults or indirect damage arising from its use, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here reduces consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Responsible drinking

Excessive drinking of alcohol endangers life. Alcohol must not be sold or given to minors, do not drive after drinking alcohol, and avoid drinking during pregnancy. More details in the Responsible Drinking page.

Privacy and cookies

Use of the site is subject to the Privacy Policy and the Cookies page.

Changes to the terms

We may update the terms at any time. The binding version is the one published on the site, and the date of the last update appears at the top of the page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Israeli law alone applies to the use of the site and to these terms. The competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter relating to them.
